The setting of this place was fantastic, surrounded by ancient ruins. 🏛️

Great views of the countryside and castle, friendly service, decent prices. Clean decent rooms, free parking. Muy buenas vistas, amable, habitaciones decentes y limpias. Parking gratis.

Not the best place to be if you want quiet. Rooms not adequately noise insulated to cut out the dogs barking, the other guests, and the bar. Atmosphere and service more like a pension than a classy hotel. No facilities beyond a bar, restaurant and elevator. Demasiado ruido muchas veces de perros, otros habitaciones, y el bar. Insornorizacion insuficiente. No hay persianas en las ventanas asi que no es bueno para descansar por la manaña.

thank you for a really comfortable stay. the staff is amiable here, the services are nice, and location is unbelievable right by a castle/fortress as well as preserved moorish castles.

The room is huge and neat. the bathrooms are large. - the location of the hotel is magnificent, really close to a castle/fortress and the best-preserved Moorish castles. - It's only 100 feet from the lake. - Better choose this place to stay when in Banos De La Encina.

Very friendly staff - bedroom with brilliant view of magnificent castle

We picked this hotel after my other choice was unexpectedly closed due to electrical problems. We wanted a hotel between Toledo and Cordoba and in the country. This place was excellent. It is in the country and not fancy, but the rooms are clean and comfortable and the views are amazing. Great hiking place. The food in the restaurant was first rate.

Hotel near charming towns with great views. Easily accessible from the A4 Motorway. Spanish-style bar-café. Calm environment in one of the most beautiful villages. Activities like canoeing and hiking nearby. Enjoyed a meal at the onsite restaurant.

Heard more barking dogs than a dog show.

It's an absolutely great hotel with castle views, we had a very pleasant experience. We received great service from the helpful and amicable staff. The room was reasonably large and the bed there was comfortable.

The staff here are very friendly, managed the parking nearby, and it's conveniently located next to one of the best-preserved Moorish castles in Andalucía.

Loved everything about our stay, the room, the view, the location, the staff, the relaxation and the history of the town. Great hotel for a base to explore the region. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to its amazing location and stunning views of the castle. The hotel facilities were clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were able to park easily right outside the hotel, and it was just a short walk to the area they loosely call a beach by the reservoir. Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and satisfying.

Nice location.

No parking at the hotel (front has c. 7 spaces all were occupied by local cars). When travelling we require reasonably secure parking and the staff were not helpful regarding this. The only parking was on a hill with no rooms overlooking the area. In the room one of the windows overlooked various 'rubbish'. When we tried to explain the need for parking (staff spoke hardly any english) and that we could not stay as the car contained many items of value we were asked to pay full room rate. Unfortunately we had read a previous review which stated the hotel had parking.

The location is convenient for accessing the main road leading towards Madrid or Granada/Malaga, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. The rooms, although lacking shutters on the windows, are comfortable and clean, offering a decent night's sleep. Plus, the views of the castle are simply breathtaking.

All was fine during my stay.
